Become a Member
The Alma Project is a membership organisation. (a two tier SCIO) Our Members are vital to the survival of the organisation, as it is the Members who vote for the Charity Trustees from within the membership. The Trustee Committee meets regularly to oversee the running of The Alma Project. Ordinary members are entitled to sit in on these meetings and are updated on the progress of Alma.
Anyone over 16 who agrees with our charitable purposes and the objectives of our group and who is willing to abide by our rules can become a Member.
If you would like to become a Member, please email email@example.com or phone 0770 36 39 334
Become a Volunteer
Volunteers play a vital role in The Alma Project, bringing in new skills, knowledge and experience that add to the quality of the service.
- Do you have a few hours to spare each week and are willing to put them to good use?
- Do you have skills that could help others and help yourself by giving you confidence and experience in a professional, working environment?
We are generally looking for volunteers with skills in the arts, administration or IT.
If you are interested, please phone Alistair on 0770 36 39 334 to find out more about our current volunteer vacancies.
Become a Trustee
The Trustees have overall responsibility for the running of The Alma Project. They meet around 5 times per year and spend around another 10-30 hours per year taking on Alma tasks related to its business. We are particularly looking for people with experience of any of small business, legal, funding and secretarial type matters as well as an interest in mental health as we seek to broaden our range of trustee skills.
If interested, please email with a CV or relevant information about yourself to Margaret Allan at firstname.lastname@example.org
Join us at our Events
From time to time we hold exhibitions, concerts, film screenings etc. to showcase the work of our service users. We also have regular fundraising events. Your presence at these would be most appreciated. You’ll be inspired and have fun!
Keep an eye out for these on our Home and Events pages.
